Our mission at Pilot Flying J is to make life better for drivers traveling the roads across North America. For that reason, we offer our customers the option to return or exchange most items within seven (7) days of the date printed on the receipt. If you need to return any merchandise bought at a Pilot Travel Center or Flying J Travel Plaza, please note that an original receipt (not a copy) is required for all returns or exchanges.
Returns and exchanges must be in the original packaging and contain all original accessories. Where appropriate, refunds will be issued in the original method of payment (including loyalty points) with the exception of purchases made by check where the refund will be given in cash, pending the check is cleared by all financial institutions involved. You can EXCHANGE any item purchased at a Pilot Travel Center or a Flying J Travel Plaza with the original receipt within 30 days of purchase.

If the case arises where a customer does not have a receipt, we will conduct an exchange up to three (3) times within a 90-day period. Our register system will then automatically “flag” future exchange transactions and a manager will be called to approve the exchange. These flags will remain for an additional 90 days but will be systematically removed if there are no returns/exchanges made during that timeframe.
