New Pilot Flying J Website Features Store Locator, Caters to Variety of Travelers

Pilot Flying J recently launched a new website, www.pilotflyingj.com, to better serve the company’s customers by providing enhanced, easy-to-navigate information about locations, products and services.

The new site unites the Pilot Travel Center and Flying J brands online. Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J merged in July 2010, and Pilot Flying J continues to operate the two brands at over 550 interstate locations across North America.

“Our new website is designed with all customers in mind – professional drivers, RV owners, fleet operators, families planning road trips or people living in one of the hundreds of communities that Pilot Flying J serves,” said Jimmy Haslam, president and CEO of Pilot Flying J.

The new website caters to each customer group, with specific sections for professional drivers and RV owners. On the website, customers can access information about fuel prices, upcoming trucking shows and RV rallies, the Pilot Flying J Frequent Fueler Advantage loyalty card information and more. Professional drivers can review which travel center locations feature specific amenities such as bulk DEF at-the-pump. With nearly 70 current locations and more planned, Pilot Flying J operates the largest network of bulk “DEF at-the-pump” in the industry.

The home page of the new site features important messages about current news, events and promotions such as in-store specials on Pilot Flying J’s premium coffee and food offerings, new location announcements and contests such as a chance to win tickets to a Pilot Flying J Race Day Experience with NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Michael Annett.

Customers also can access tools such as the store locator and enhanced “Plan a Trip” feature. Designed for use by professional drivers, RV enthusiasts and traveling motorists, this feature helps customers plan stops at convenient Pilot Flying J locations along their way. Turn-by-turn directions from starting point to destination, including stops at Pilot Flying J to refuel and refresh, can be printed from the site.

“The site provides easy-to-use tools and information that help our customers find us, get connected with us, pick up the quality products and services they need and get back on the road,” Haslam said. “And, our new mobile site provides the same access from their smartphones to information and services they might need away from home.”

On-the-go customers can access a mobile version of the new Pilot Flying J website by visiting www.pilotflyingj.com on their smartphones. The mobile site also features a store locator tool, sections for the professional driver and RV owner, access to the Frequent Fueler Advantage loyalty program and ways to connect with customer service or via social media.

Pilot Flying J welcomes customers to check out www.pilotflyingj.com and the companion mobile site and to connect with them via Facebook, Twitter or by signing up for the Pilot Flying J mailing list, the company said. Customers also can contact feedback@pilotflyingj.com.
